Heritage Hunters is a society dedicated to the study and preservation of genealogical and historic materials in and around Saratoga County, New York. Regular meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month in the Community Room at the Saratoga Springs Public Library. Meetings frequently include classes, lectures, workshops, seminars, and/or committee meetings. Guests are always welcome!

The Heritage Hunters Library contains a wide range of reference sources. A collection of members' Surname pages is maintained, and there is a variety of periodicals, instructional books, state and local histories, lists of primary sources and even a few videotapes. Much of this library is made available for browsing at the monthly meetings. The custodian of our library is Joan Cady who has submitted a general overview of the library's catalog.

Our Newsletter is published bimonthly except for December/January, and is mailed to each current member. The editor, Pat Peck, welcomes submission of articles and suggestions from all members.
