James Reed Cramer Family Bible
Description - (7 1/2 x 11 x 3), brown, solid covers with protected corners. Good condition. Body of the bible pages have gold edging. Written on the front and back covers in gold lettering is the following: THE HOLY BIBLE COMPLETE and HOW to UNDERSTAND IT.
On the flyleaf of the end sheet is handwritten, "James Reed + Sarah E. Cramer, present from Mother Cramer."
Cover Page - HITCHCOCK'S new and COMPLETE ANALYSIS of the HOLY BIBLE: or, the whole of the OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS.
Illustrated with steel plate engravings and maps. The engravings are from the original drawings by celebrated artists, Thomas Nast and F. B. Carpenter.
